Baltimore, MD – A shooting in the Eastern District has prompted an investigation by local detectives after a 28-year-old woman was injured.

On October 13, 2024, at approximately 7:46 p.m., officers responded to a residence in the 4300 block of Sheldon Avenue after receiving reports of a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers discovered the victim suffering from apparent non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. Medics provided treatment at the scene before transporting her to an area hospital for further care.
