BROOKLYN, N.Y. — An off-duty New York City police officer was arrested early Saturday morning on charges of driving while intoxicated, according to authorities.
The officer, identified as 27-year-old Angel Balbuena, was taken into custody within the confines of the 66th Precinct in Brooklyn. Police stated that Balbuena, who is an NYPD officer, was arrested at approximately 2:54 a.m. Saturday.
