Early Morning Break-In Caught on Camera in D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — A burglary occurred early Wednesday at a business on H Street in Northeast Washington, and authorities are seeking help from the public in identifying the suspect involved.

At approximately 5:30 a.m., the suspect forced entry into the unoccupied business located in the 700 block of H Street. After gaining access, the individual stole property and fled the area.

The suspect was recorded by surveillance cameras.

Community members with any information about the suspect or the incident are urged to contact authorities at (202) 727-9099 or to text tips to the Department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in connection with the crime.
