GLEN BURNIE, Md. — On July 25, 2024, at approximately 12:40 a.m., the 911 Communications Center received a report of two suspects attempting to break into the Exxon located at 720 Aquahart Road by kicking in the front door.
An officer monitoring the Computer Aided Dispatch system noticed the call entry and immediately headed to the location before the call was officially dispatched. Upon arrival, the officer spotted a suspect at the shattered front door. The suspect fled as the officer approached but was apprehended a short distance away. The second suspect remains at large.
Detectives from the Northern District are investigating the incident and are asking anyone with information to contact them at 40-222-6135 or the Tip Line at 410-222-4700.
