Multiple Stabbings in Queens Leave Two Dead, Two Injured Including Young Boy

QUEENS, NY — Authorities are investigating a violent incident at 147-25 94th Avenue that resulted in the deaths of an 8-year-old boy and a 20-year-old man, along with injuries to two others.

On Thursday, July 4, at approximately 9:11 p.m., police responded to a 911 call reporting a stabbing. Upon arrival, officers encountered a 20-year-old male suspect with multiple stab wounds on the right side of his torso. The suspect was transported to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased.

Inside the location, officers found an 8-year-old boy, identified as Jacob Lopez, with multiple stab wounds to his chest. Lopez was transported to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased.

A 30-year-old female and a 43-year-old male were also discovered at the scene with multiple stab wounds. Both were taken to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center and are listed in stable condition.

The investigation is being conducted by the 103rd Precinct Detective Squad and the Force Investigation Division. The deceased suspect has been identified as Pedro Felix, age 20.
