Toms River, NJ – Six young males who left Sunny Hunny by The Sea Restaurant & Pancake House without paying have been identified and brought back to settle their bill with the help of the Toms River Police Department.
The incident occurred at approximately 12:55 p.m. when the group drove off in a black car with tinted windows and only a rear license plate. Images were shared to assist in identifying the suspects, and a police report was filed.
The restaurant expressed gratitude to the community for their support and to the Toms River Police Department for their assistance. The individuals had ordered extra items and joked about using a credit card before leaving without paying.
Sunny Hunny highlighted the challenges small businesses face, noting that such actions exacerbate economic struggles.
