Three Teens Arrested in Violent Home Invasion and Robbery

WOODBRIDGE, VA—A violent robbery incident involving a mob assault at a residence in the 14600 block of Ponderosa Ct. has led to the arrest of five individuals, including three juveniles. The incident occurred on June 29 at approximately 12:41 AM and resulted in minor injuries.

During the robbery, three assailants, who were acquainted with the victims, brandished firearms and assaulted a 17-year-old male. When a 19-year-old female attempted to intervene, she was also assaulted. The perpetrators then stole a phone and keys from a 19-year-old male victim and attempted to take shoes from the juvenile victim.

A family member’s intervention prompted the suspects to flee the scene. Following an investigation that included execution of search warrants at multiple locations, evidence related to the robbery and assault was uncovered.

The suspects, identified as Iverson Galindo Valle, 19, of Triangle, and Roger Donaldo Aguilar-Diaz, 20, also from Triangle, along with three male juveniles from Dumfries and Manassas, were arrested on July 1. Valle faces charges including two counts of robbery, three counts of brandishing a firearm, three counts of malicious wounding by mob, and one count of using a firearm in the commission of a felony. Aguilar-Diaz is charged with conspiracy to commit robbery.

All suspects are currently held without bond, with court dates pending. The juveniles are detained at a Juvenile Detention Center facing various charges, including possession of a firearm by a minor and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. The investigation into this premeditated and violent crime continues.
