Wall Township Police Weekly Arrest Report

WALL TOWNSHIP, NJ – The Wall Township Police Department has reported several arrests from the past week, spanning from drug possession to driving under the influence.

Monday, June 10, 2024: Patrolman James Yannazzone executed a search warrant resulting in the arrest of Kelly F. Bennett, 27, of Farmingdale. Bennett faces charges including possession of heroin, possession of crack cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and credit card theft. She was released on a summons.

During a motor vehicle stop on State Highway 138, Patrolman Tyler Martin arrested Timothy W. Crews, 31, of Lakewood, for possession of crack cocaine. Crews was also released on a summons.

Wednesday, June 12, 2024: Leigh E. Mekeel, 29, of Wantagh, NY, was arrested by Patrolman Mark Daugherty on an active warrant from Lakewood Municipal Court. Mekeel posted bail and was released.

Jonathan A. Zascone, 58, of Manasquan, was arrested for shoplifting from Target on State Highway 35 by Patrolman Gary Fuller. Zascone was processed and released on a summons.

Thursday, June 13, 2024: Dominick J. Galasso, 28, of Brick, was apprehended by Patrolman Wayne Jackson during a motor vehicle stop due to an active warrant from Seaside Heights Municipal Court. Galasso was transferred to Seaside Heights Police Department custody.

Friday, June 14, 2024: Wilkin Sanchez Hernandez, 20, of Harlem, NY, and Anthony Mendez Santana, 18, of Brick, were arrested by Patrolman John Kelly for theft by deception, exhibiting a simulated driver’s license, and issuing a bad check. Both were released on a summons.

Saturday, June 15, 2024: Casey A. Waake, 34, of Jackson, was arrested on State Highway 34 by Patrolman James Yannazzone following a suspicious person investigation. Waake was charged with resisting arrest, contempt of court, obstructing the administration of justice, and hindering his apprehension. He was incarcerated at the Monmouth County Correctional Institution.

Brian K. Heath, 49, of Lewisburg, PA, was arrested for driving while intoxicated on State Highway 34 by Patrolman Alexandra Clayton. Heath was processed and released in accordance with John’s Law.

Sunday, June 16, 2024: Thomas LaForgia, 30, of Toms River, was arrested at the Marriott Hotel on Campus Parkway by Patrolman Hunter Manning. LaForgia was charged with obstructing the administration of justice and hindering his apprehension, and released on a summons.

The Wall Township Police Department continues to actively enforce the law and ensure community safety through diligent patrols and investigations.
