Wall Township Police Blotter: Here's What's Happening

WALL, NJ—Patrolman Jared Conte of Wall Township Police arrested Kylie R. Olone, 23, from Hazlet, following an investigation into a suspicious vehicle on Church Street on Monday. Olone was found to have an existing arrest warrant issued by Wall Township Municipal Court and was subsequently processed and released.

On Wednesday, Patrolman Trent Powers arrested two individuals, Terry E. Westfall Jr., 52, of Brick, and Gregory G. Gearo, 63, of Ocean Grove. The arrests occurred after an investigation linked to a shoplifting event that took place on May 19 at the Shoprite on 1732 State Highway 35. Both suspects were processed and released on a summons.

Friday’s activities included the arrest of Martin J. Cammarata, 29, of Neptune, and Kelly F. Bennett, 27, of Farmingdale, by Patrolman James Yannazzone. The arrests followed a vehicle stop on Belmar Blvd, where Bennett was found with cocaine, heroin, and drug paraphernalia. Cammarata had an active warrant for armed robbery issued by Tinton Falls. That same day, Patrolman Joseph Phillips arrested Karen H. Megalla, 20, of Marlboro, on State Highway 33/34 for an outstanding warrant from Carteret Municipal Court.

The week concluded with Patrolman Shane Roland arresting Paul D. Williams, 65, of Jackson, for driving while intoxicated after a motor vehicle accident on Gully Road on Saturday. Williams was processed and released under John’s Law.
