NEW YORK, NY—A shooting incident inside a commercial establishment in Queens left a 35-year-old man injured on Saturday. At around 3:30 PM, an unknown individual fired multiple shots at the location near 29th Street and 36th Avenue. The victim sustained a gunshot wound to the buttocks during the attack.
After the shooting, the suspect fled the scene on foot, heading east on 36th Avenue. The injured man was transported by EMS to NYC Health and Hospitals/Elmhurst in stable condition
. Described as having a light complexion, the suspect stands about 5 feet 8 inches tall with a slim build. He was last seen wearing a red Nike sweatshirt, black sweatpants, a black mask, and white and black sneakers.
