BALTIMORE, MD – A Northeast District investigation has led to the arrest of 50-year-old Scott Brooks in connection with a shooting incident. The event occurred on May 18, 2024, in the 6900 block of Moyer Avenue, where patrol officers initially responded to reports of gunfire.
Though no victims were found at the scene, evidence of gunfire was discovered. After obtaining a description of the suspect, Brooks was arrested on May 21, 2024. It was determined that Brooks had allegedly fired at a 22-year-old male following a dispute at the same location.

Brooks has been transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility and faces charges of attempted 1st-degree murder.
