ATLANTIC COUNTY, NJ — The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office recently conducted an educational outreach at Oakcrest High School to address the dangers of drunk and distracted driving.
The event featured detailed presentations aimed at demonstrating the impacts of alcohol and distractions on driving capabilities. The primary goal was to enlighten students on the severe consequences associated with unsafe driving behaviors and to encourage adherence to safe driving practices.
Special acknowledgments were given to Shavonne Davis, MA, Richard Cornett, and Lieutenant Jim Rosiello. Lieutenant Rosiello, who leads the fatal accident investigation unit, played a pivotal role in both organizing and delivering these critical presentations.
The initiative underscores the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s commitment to “an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure,” focusing on proactive education to prevent driving-related incidents.
