WALL TOWNSHIP, NJ – An attempted home and vehicle break-in early this morning has prompted an investigation by the Wall Township Police. The incident took place near the intersection of Allenwood Rd and Hurley Pond Rd at around 1 AM.
A male suspect, believed to be driving a silver Chevrolet Cruze, was recorded on surveillance footage as he entered the driveway of the residence. The man, described as in his 20s to 30s with short black hair and light facial hair, attempted to force entry into the home by kicking the front door, although he failed to gain access.
The suspect then attempted to enter a vehicle parked in the driveway and successfully accessed one vehicle. However, it appears that nothing was stolen. Following these attempts, the individual returned to his vehicle and left the area.
Wall Township Police are asking anyone with information about this incident or the suspect to come forward and contact them directly.
