East Brunswick, NJ – The American Veterans Traveling Tribute (AVTT) Vietnam Wall is set to arrive in East Brunswick, brought by the East Brunswick Memorial VFW Post 133 together with the Township of East Brunswick. This 80 percent scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. is nearly 400 feet long and features all the names etched on the original memorial. Additionally, it includes tributes to every U.S. military action since World War I.
On Wednesday, the AVTT Wall is scheduled to make its debut in East Brunswick with a welcoming motorcade starting at 10 AM. Specifics about the motorcade and its route will be provided in advance to help drivers plan accordingly. The AVTT Wall, along with the tributes, will be open to the public at the Community Arts Center on 721 Cranbury Road. An inaugural ceremony will take place on Thursday at 10 AM, followed by public viewing through Memorial Day.
East Brunswick will hold its annual Memorial Day Observance on Sunday at 10 AM at the AVTT Wall site to honor the U.S. Military members who have sacrificed their lives for the country.
