SCRANTON, PA — Jordan Gee, 37, from Nanticoke, Pennsylvania, faces federal charges for making threats against President Joseph Biden and issuing interstate communications with a threat. The indictment, revealed by the United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, comes ahead of President Biden’s planned visit to Scranton for a campaign event.

U.S. Attorney Gerard M. Karam specified that Gee is accused of posting several videos online where he threatened the President and his cabinet. The explicit threats included statements like, “Joe Biden: I’m going to kill you and your whole cabinet,” and warnings of violence if Biden visited Scranton.

The case is under the jurisdiction of the United States Secret Service, with Assistant United States Attorney Kyle A. Moreno leading the prosecution.

If found guilty, Gee could face up to twenty years in federal prison, along with possible fines and supervised release.

It is important to note that an indictment is merely an accusation.
