BERKELEY TWP., N.J. — Officials have announced new speed limits now in effect along County Road #91 — also known as Grand Central Parkway, Pinewald Road, Surf Avenue, and Admiral Avenue — spanning Berkeley Township and the Borough of Beachwood.

The updated speed zones, which took effect immediately, apply to both directions of traffic and include reduced limits in school zones and residential areas.

  • Zone 2: From Seaman Avenue to Ensign Avenue in Beachwood, the speed limit is set at 35 MPH.
  • Zone 3: From Ensign Avenue to State Highway Route 166 in Beachwood, the limit is reduced further to 30 MPH.
