PITTSBURGH, PA — A Pennsylvania Lottery Cash 5 with Quick Cash ticket sold in Allegheny County has hit the jackpot, earning the lucky winner more than $2.2 million from Tuesday night’s drawing.
The ticket, sold at the Sunoco located at 1643 Arlington Avenue in Pittsburgh, matched all five numbers drawn—2, 14, 18, 23, and 29—to secure the $2,244,106 prize, less applicable withholding. The winning ticket was part of the April 22 drawing.
The Sunoco store that sold the jackpot-winning ticket will receive a $10,000 bonus for its role in the sale.
Jackpot winner remains unidentified as claims process begins
Lottery officials noted that winners are not known until prizes are officially claimed and tickets are validated. The jackpot prize from the main Cash 5 game must be claimed within one year from the drawing date.
The Cash 5 with Quick Cash game allows players to select five numbers between 1 and 43. In addition to the main drawing, each ticket includes a Quick Cash game with separate instant-win chances.
The April 22 drawing also produced more than 43,300 additional winning Cash 5 with Quick Cash tickets across various prize levels. Lower-tier prizes can be claimed at lottery retailers across the state.
