BENSALEM, PA — Police in Bensalem Township are searching for a woman accused of fleeing the scene of a hit-and-run accident after striking another vehicle in a parking lot over the weekend.

The incident occurred on Saturday, April 19, at approximately 4:00 p.m. at 2721 Street Road in Bensalem. Investigators said the driver, described as an unknown female operating a gray van, struck another car while attempting to park in a stall.

After the initial collision, the woman reportedly moved her van, exited the vehicle, walked up to the damaged car to inspect it, and then left the scene without contacting the other vehicle’s owner or reporting the incident.

Police have released a photo of the suspect and the vehicle involved, asking the public to review the image carefully for identification purposes.

Police request tips as investigation continues

The Bensalem Township Police Department is asking anyone with information about the suspect’s identity to contact the department directly at 215-633-3719. Tips can also be submitted anonymously through the department’s Crimewatch website.

No injuries were reported in connection with the collision, and the extent of the vehicle damage has not been disclosed.

As of Monday, the suspect remains unidentified, and the investigation is ongoing.
