CLARK, N.J. — Police in Clark made a series of arrests between April 1 and April 20, with charges ranging from driving while intoxicated to possession of controlled substances and uttering forged government documents.
On April 1 at 9:44 p.m., Officer Rameil King arrested Antwon Blount, 32, of East Windsor, N.J., for driving while intoxicated and disorderly conduct after a traffic stop at Centennial Avenue and Hayes Street. Blount also received summonses for delaying traffic and failing to submit breath samples.
Two days later, on April 3 at 12:13 a.m., Samantha Greenfield, 29, of Cranford, was stopped on Ross Street after allegedly striking an unoccupied police vehicle. Officer Liam Duffy arrested her for driving while intoxicated. Greenfield was also cited for reckless driving, careless driving, and leaving the scene of an accident.
In the early hours of April 5, Officer Antonio Bellomo responded to a suspicious person call on Casino Avenue. James Sasser Jr., 36, of the Bronx, was arrested for possession of prescription drugs and issued a Municipal court appearance.
On April 10, Officer Lynne Galvez arrested William Swaim, 54, of Davenport, Florida, after he was found with forged government documents at a business on East North Avenue. Swaim was given a Superior Court appearance date.
Multiple DWI arrests within one week
On April 11, Denise Lamorgese, 52, of Kenilworth, was arrested by Officer Robert Chamra in the 30 block of Eastman Street after police responded to a one-vehicle crash. She was charged with driving while intoxicated and issued a summons for careless driving.
April 13 saw the arrest of Eric Kibonge, 38, of Westbrook, Maine, who was found parked in a fire lane on Jackson Drive. Officer James Wilson III arrested him for DWI. Kibonge also received citations for careless driving, driving with a suspended license, refusal to submit breath samples, and improper parking.
A week later on April 19, Officer Liam Duffy arrested Cheyene Abdelmissih, 27, of Belleville, N.J., at 1:48 a.m. for driving while intoxicated. Police observed her vehicle stopped on the wrong side of the road at Centennial Avenue and Raritan Road.
Just a few hours later, Officer Gianna Ricerca stopped a 2013 Cadillac driven by Soloman Palmer, 64, of Montclair, N.J. Palmer was charged with obstruction, resisting arrest, and DWI. He was also issued summonses for careless driving, failure to maintain lane, delaying traffic, and refusal to submit breath samples.
