WASHINGTON, D.C. — A robbery unfolded late Sunday night in Northwest D.C., as police investigate a suspect who fled the scene in the bustling U Street corridor.
At approximately 10:30 p.m. on April 20, officers from the Metropolitan Police Department responded to the 1200 block of U Street, NW, for a report of a robbery. A lookout was issued for a Black male suspect wearing a gray hoodie, black jeans, and gray shoes.
No injuries were reported and authorities have not yet disclosed what was taken during the incident. Investigators have not released surveillance footage or additional suspect details as of Monday morning.
The case remains under active investigation, and no arrests have been announced.
