MANHATTAN, N.Y. — A Manhattan man was fatally stabbed late Friday night inside a building on West 104th Street, police said.
Officers responded to a 911 call of an assault in progress at 140 West 104th Street, within the confines of the 24th Precinct and PSA 6, just before midnight. Upon arrival, they discovered a 40-year-old man with multiple stab wounds to the neck.
The victim, identified by police as Shariff Clindinin, of 868 Amsterdam Avenue, was transported by EMS to Mount Sinai Morningside. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Authorities have not made any arrests in connection with the fatal stabbing. The investigation is ongoing, and police have not released information regarding possible suspects or motive.
