ALLENTOWN, PA — Police responded early Sunday morning to a disturbance at Tipsy’s Bar & Lounge, where they discovered a woman with a laceration following a physical altercation, according to a release from the Allentown Police Department.
At approximately 12:30 a.m. on April 20, officers were dispatched to the lounge at 462 Union Boulevard. Upon arrival, they dispersed an unruly crowd and located a female victim with a minor forearm injury. The injury was reportedly sustained during a physical altercation inside the establishment.
Officers provided immediate first aid at the scene. The victim was then transported to a local hospital and is expected to survive her injuries, authorities said.
The incident has been referred to the nuisance abatement process, which targets problem properties or locations with repeated police activity or public disturbances.
