PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Philadelphia Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing and endangered man last seen early Friday morning.

Joselyn Vissandier, 77, was last seen around 7:05 a.m. on April 18 near the 1400 block of East Cheltenham Avenue. Authorities say he left the area and has not been seen since.

Vissandier resides on the 6500 block of North Uber Street. Police describe him as 6 feet tall, weighing approximately 170 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair.

At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing dark green clothing, according to the department’s alert.

Police consider Vissandier endangered

Due to his age, officials have categorized Vissandier as a missing endangered person. No medical or cognitive conditions have been publicly disclosed.

“The Philadelphia Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing endangered person, Joselyn Vissandier,” the department said in a public notice.

Investigators from the Northeast Detective Division are handling the search. Flyers and alerts have been issued in the surrounding neighborhoods and transit areas.
