ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, N.J. — Mario M. Kranjac, the self-proclaimed MAGA candidate for governor of New Jersey, released his fourth web ad titled “Fixed Values and Fixed Beliefs”, continuing his combative campaign style and alignment with former President Donald Trump.
The video, published on social media platforms this week, includes a personal message from Kranjac stating, “We don’t poll our feelings and we don’t poll what we should think. We know what’s right; we know how to make society great again and we want to Make New Jersey Great Again just like he’s Made America Great Again.”
Kranjac, the former mayor of Englewood Cliffs, is running as an unapologetic Trump Republican, invoking his history of political battles, including being censured by Democrats, sanctioned in court, and repeatedly sued. The ad suggests those actions were politically motivated, claiming, “I’ve been sued over 12 times, censured, sanctioned, persecuted, and prosecuted by judges who don’t like what I say.”
The video also draws contrasts between Kranjac and his Republican primary opponents, whom he accuses of inconsistency on core issues like abortion, immigration, and loyalty to Trump.
“The Spadarelli twins are all over the map when it comes to supporting President Trump, protecting life, and ending illegal immigration,” Kranjac said in a statement accompanying the ad.
Kranjac highlights ‘Contract for New Jersey’
As part of the ad, Kranjac introduces his “Contract for New Jersey,” modeled after Newt Gingrich’s “Contract with America.” The policy outline, according to Kranjac, reflects what “most New Jersey people want,” including peace, employment opportunities, education, and healthcare. “We can do all that,” he says in the video.
Kranjac also criticizes New Jersey Right to Life and other advocacy groups, accusing them of misleading pro-life voters by supporting candidates he claims are retreating from anti-abortion positions. He targets Bill Spadea and Jack Ciattarelli for what he describes as a lack of commitment to conservative causes and for distancing themselves from Trump.
He adds that political ideology should be legally protected, saying, “I think your political affiliation should be a protected class… we should have the freedom to be Republicans.”
