BRONX, N.Y. — The NYPD is asking for the public’s help in locating a 16-year-old girl who was reported missing after leaving her Bronx residence on Sunday afternoon.
Chantal Vazquez was last seen around 4:50 p.m. on April 13 leaving her home at 1101 Manor Avenue, located within the confines of the 43rd Precinct, police said.
Vazquez is described as having a medium complexion, with black hair and brown eyes. She stands approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs around 140 pounds.
At the time of her disappearance, she was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants, and black Crocs.
NYPD requests public assistance
Police have not released additional information about the circumstances surrounding Vazquez’s disappearance but confirmed that she has been officially listed as a missing person.
