BALTIMORE, MD — Maryland Lottery players cashed in big during the week of April 7–13, with a Baltimore woman claiming a $5 million scratch-off prize and a Hagerstown player securing an $870,000 Multi-Match jackpot.

Multiple jackpots highlight major prize week

A Baltimore player, using the nickname Sleepless Flower Girl, claimed the top $5 million prize from a $50 5,000,000 Cash scratch-off. Her win came after purchasing the ticket during a sick day visit to a Safeway on Harford Road.

In Western Maryland, a Multi-Match ticket sold in Hagerstown hit the $870,000 jackpot. The winner has not yet been publicly identified.

The week also brought six-figure wins to Fallston and Severna Park, where two FAST PLAY progressive jackpot tickets delivered paydays well above $100,000 each.



41 high-tier wins statewide in one week

In total, the Maryland Lottery paid nearly $35.6 million across all games for the week. Of that amount, 41 tickets worth $10,000 or more were sold or redeemed statewide.

Players are reminded that tickets for draw games and FAST PLAY expire 182 days after the date of drawing or purchase. Scratch-off expiration dates are posted on the Maryland Lottery website.
