BRONX, NY — A 29-year-old man was slashed in the face in a broad daylight assault near the busy intersection of Jerome Avenue and West Kingsbridge Road on Sunday afternoon, police said.

The attack occurred at approximately 3:27 p.m., when an unidentified individual approached the victim and cut his face with a sharp object before fleeing the scene on foot. The suspect ran northbound along Jerome Avenue and remains at large.
