STATEN ISLAND, NY — The NYPD is asking for the public’s help in locating 14-year-old Jayleen Barrett Jones, who went missing Sunday morning after leaving her Staten Island residence.

According to police, Jones was last seen at approximately 10:30 a.m. on April 13, 2025, leaving her home at Post Avenue in the 120th Precinct. Her current whereabouts are unknown, and authorities have classified her as a missing person.
She is described as 5 feet tall, weighing about 150 pounds, with brown and blonde hair and brown eyes.
At the time of her disappearance, Jones was wearing a blue dress and blue jeans. No information has been provided regarding where she may have been headed or whether she has gone missing before.
The NYPD is requesting that anyone with information about her location contact authorities immediately. Tips can be reported to 911 or to the local precinct handling the investigation.
