BALTIMORE, Md. — A 16-year-old boy was injured Thursday afternoon in a shooting on East 28th Street, prompting an active investigation in the city’s Eastern District.

Teen hospitalized after midday gunfire

Eastern District patrol officers responded to the reported shooting shortly after 1:30 p.m. Upon arrival, they located the teenage victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg. He was transported to a local hospital, where he was reported to be in stable condition.
