BALTIMORE, Md. — A 17-year-old male was shot Wednesday evening in Northeast Baltimore and later walked into a local hospital seeking treatment, prompting an active investigation by district detectives.

Teen wounded, crime scene found on 36th Street

Police were notified around 7:22 p.m. on April 9 after the teen arrived at a hospital with gunshot wounds. Officers responded and spoke with the victim, who reported being shot while in the 1300 block of 36th Street.

Medical personnel were already treating the teen for his injuries when officers arrived. His current condition has not been disclosed.
