TRENTON, N.J. — A triple win in the Garden State turned three ordinary lottery tickets into life-changing windfalls, as players from Morris, Union and Hunterdon counties each claimed a one-third share of a $650,466 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot.
Key Points
- Three players matched all five winning numbers in the April 8 Jersey Cash 5 drawing
- Each player will receive $216,822 from the total $650,466 prize
- Winning tickets were sold in Lake Hiawatha, Hillside and Flemington
Jackpot marks third shared win of 2025
The winning numbers — 03, 06, 08, 10, 11 — delivered a rare three-way jackpot split, the 16th time the top prize has been claimed this year and the third occasion it was divided among multiple winners. The Xtra number was 02 and the Bullseye was 03.
Beyond the jackpot split, 83 additional players matched four balls and the Bullseye to each win $500. Another 33 players matched four balls, the Bullseye, and the Xtra to also secure $500 prizes.
Retailers rewarded for big-ticket sales
Each of the three retailers that sold a winning ticket will receive a $2,000 bonus. The stores were Krauszer’s Food Store in Lake Hiawatha, Two Lucky Convenience Store in Hillside, and 7-Eleven #41946 in Flemington.
The last time the Jersey Cash 5 jackpot was split three ways was on Oct. 31, when three winners claimed $55,602 each from a $166,806 prize pool.
