Critical condition victim found in home

Allegheny County’s 9-1-1 center received a call at 2:40 a.m. reporting a shooting on the 500 block of North Avenue. First responders arrived at the scene and located an adult male suffering from gunshot wounds inside a residence.

The victim was rushed to an area hospital, where officials say he remains in critical but stable condition.

County police detectives have launched an investigation into the incident, but no suspect information has been released at this time.
