CLEVELAND, OH – Two Ohio Lottery players struck it big in the March 29 Powerball drawing, claiming a combined $1.15 million in prizes.
One winning ticket matched all five white ball numbers — 7, 11, 21, 53, and 61 — to earn the $1 million second-tier prize. The ticket, a manual pick, was sold at Emery Convenient Food Mart on Emery Road in Warrensville Heights. It marks the third $1 million Powerball win in Ohio this year.
A second ticket, sold at Amvets Post 102 on Park Avenue in Delaware, matched enough numbers and included the 3X Powerplay to yield a $150,000 win. This ticket was an auto-pick.
The Red Ball number drawn was 2, and the Powerplay multiplier for the drawing was 3X.
Winners have 180 days from the drawing date to claim their prizes.
The Ohio Lottery, which has contributed over $33 billion to education since 1974, continues to see high participation in national draw games like Powerball.
