SUITLAND, Md. — A double fatal shooting late Friday night in the Suitland area has left two men dead and a third injured, prompting a homicide investigation by the Prince George’s County Police Department.
The shooting occurred around 10:30 p.m. on March 28 in the 4000 block of Silver Hill Road. Responding officers found 32-year-old Antonio Magruder of District Heights inside a business suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A second victim, 56-year-old Darrell Mason of Suitland, was discovered inside a vehicle nearby, also suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a hospital, where he later died.
A third man sustained non-life-threatening injuries during the incident. Authorities have not released his identity.
Detectives are actively investigating the shooting, working to identify suspects and determine a motive. No arrests have been made as of Monday.
The Prince George’s County Police Department is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to an arrest and indictment in the case.
