BRONX, N.Y. — A 43-year-old man was slashed across the face Thursday afternoon during a dispute inside a building on West Kingsbridge Road, police said.

The incident occurred around 4:43 p.m. at 263 West Kingsbridge Road, where the unidentified assailant approached the victim during an altercation and struck him in the face with an unknown object.

The suspect fled the scene on foot, heading southbound on Bailey Avenue. Authorities said the victim sustained a minor laceration but did not require hospitalization.

Police described the suspect as a male last seen wearing a black baseball cap, black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and white sneakers.

No arrests have been made, and the motive behind the attack remains unclear.

Investigators are reviewing security footage and seeking witnesses as the investigation continues.
