STAFFORD, VA — A juvenile allegedly under the influence crashed into another vehicle while attempting to order food at a McDonald’s drive-thru late Tuesday night, authorities said, and was later found with marijuana products and a realistic BB gun.
According to the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred on March 26 around 11:02 p.m., after a concerned caller reported a suspected drunk driver on Richmond Highway near Garrisonville Road. The driver, described as appearing half-asleep, had reportedly reversed at an intersection before continuing down the road.

Deputy D.A. Robertson located the suspect vehicle in the drive-thru line of McDonald’s at 303 Town Center Boulevard. As the deputy approached, the juvenile struck the car in front of him. Upon investigation, the teen showed signs of intoxication and was detained.
A search of the juvenile revealed a mix of marijuana products and a realistic Glock-style BB gun. He was charged with driving under the influence, driving without a license, underage possession of marijuana, and underage alcohol consumption.
Although charges were filed, Juvenile Intake declined to detain the teen, and he was released to his parents.
