Three Wilmington Teens Arrested for 7-Eleven Robbery

Wilmington, DE – The Delaware State Police have taken into custody a 15-year-old male and two 16-year-old females, all residents of Wilmington, Delaware, in connection with a robbery that transpired Thursday afternoon at a local 7-Eleven.

On Thursday at approximately 1:15 p.m., state troopers responded to a reported robbery at the 7-Eleven located at 4865 Governor Printz Boulevard. Upon arrival, they discovered the teenagers were prohibited from the store due to prior shoplifting incidents. Despite being asked to leave by the clerk, they refused, began taking store items, and assaulted the clerk during an attempt to reclaim merchandise, fleeing the scene afterward. The clerk was subsequently transported to a hospital with minor injuries.

Troop 2 Robbery Detectives, present at the scene for investigation, identified and detained the suspects as they returned to the 7-Eleven. The apprehension occurred without incident.

Each suspect faces multiple charges. The 15-year-old male is charged with second-degree robbery and conspiracy, arraigned at Justice of the Peace Court 11, and released on a $2,000 unsecured bond to a guardian.
