Stafford, VA – A Stafford County Sheriff’s deputy was involved in a hit-and-run incident on Friday morning around 6:15 a.m. The deputy, while stationary on his motorcycle near Northbound I-95 and the Warrenton Road exit ramp, was struck from behind by a vehicle.

The vehicle continued driving after colliding with the deputy. The injured deputy received treatment for minor injuries at a local hospital and has since been released.

Authorities have described the suspect vehicle as a bright blue, lower-profile car, which may include sedans, crossovers, and minivans. The vehicle is believed to have front-end damage resulting from the incident.

The Sheriff’s Office requests anyone with information or who witnessed the hit-and-run to contact them promptly to aid in the ongoing investigation.
