WASHINGTON, D.C. — A 19-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a 2024 robbery in Northeast D.C. that left a victim assaulted and stripped of his coat and personal belongings, authorities announced Sunday.

The incident occurred on Monday, December 2, 2024, in the 700 block of E Street, Northeast. According to police, the victim was walking when a vehicle approached and two suspects jumped out, attacked the victim, and forcibly took property before fleeing in the same car.

On March 17, 2025, Damarco Jackson of Southeast D.C. was taken into custody and charged with Robbery (Force & Violence). The second suspect remains unidentified, and the case is still under active investigation.

No additional injuries were reported during the incident, and authorities have not released the value or details of the stolen items.
