BALTIMORE, MD — A man was found shot inside a Northeast Baltimore residence late Friday night and later died at the hospital, sparking a homicide investigation.

Officers responded to the 2500 block of Perring Manor Road at approximately 10:49 p.m. on March 21 after receiving reports of a shooting. Inside the residence, police found an unidentified male suffering from a gunshot wound.

Medics transported the victim to a local hospital, but despite emergency treatment, he was pronounced dead.

Homicide detectives responded to the scene and have taken over the investigation. The identity of the victim has not yet been released, and no suspects have been publicly identified.
