Man and woman shot in late-night attack in Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MD — A man and woman were hospitalized after being shot multiple times in a late-night shooting on Calverton Heights Avenue, prompting an active investigation by Western District detectives.

The shooting occurred around 11:30 p.m. on March 22 in the 2400 block of Calverton Heights Avenue. When officers arrived, they found a 36-year-old male and a 39-year-old female, both suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Medics transported the victims to an area hospital, where both are listed in stable condition. Their identities have not been released.

Detectives from the Western District responded to the scene and are leading the investigation. No suspects or motives have been announced.
