ABERDEEN, MD — A $500,000-winning Powerball Double Play ticket was sold in Harford County, marking Maryland’s first second-tier Double Play winner of 2025.

The winning ticket, purchased at Carsins Run Liquors on Churchville Road in Aberdeen, matched five numbers in Monday’s Double Play drawing. The winning numbers were 02, 54, 59, 65, and 68, with a Powerball of 03.

Double Play, an add-on feature that costs an additional $1, gives players a second chance to win up to $10 million using the same ticket numbers. Maryland Lottery officials reported 1,822 Double Play winners statewide from Monday night, winning between $7 and $500,000.

There were no winners of the main Powerball jackpot, second-tier, or third-tier prizes in the regular drawing. However, 12,316 Marylanders won smaller prizes ranging from $4 to $200 by matching lower-tier combinations.
