BALTIMORE, MD — A Maryland Lottery player on the Eastern Shore claimed a $100,000 Powerball prize last week, one of 26 high-tier wins totaling nearly $30.3 million in prizes across the state from March 17–23. The winning ticket, sold at the Walmart on North Fruitland Boulevard in Fruitland, matched four white balls and the Powerball number with a bonus multiplier.
That was one of three $100,000 prizes won statewide during the week. The other two came from scratch-off games purchased in Baltimore and Lanham. The Powerball jackpot, which has not been hit since Jan. 18, has now surged to an estimated $461 million for Monday night’s drawing, with a $217.2 million cash option.
