Four men charged with murder after fatal Bronx shooting of 32-year-old man inside apartment

BRONX, NY — Four men have been arrested and charged in connection with the fatal shooting of a 32-year-old man inside a Bronx apartment last week, the NYPD announced Friday.

The arrests stem from a deadly incident that occurred Thursday, March 20, at approximately 4:05 p.m., when police responded to a 911 call reporting a man shot inside 1103 East 231st Street, in the 47th Precinct.

Upon arrival, officers found Xavier Goodson, 32, unconscious and unresponsive with gunshot wounds to the head and abdomen. EMS transported him to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi, where he was pronounced dead.

The NYPD identified the suspects as Jahiem Pasco, 22, of 770 East 221st Street; Jaire Drakes, 20, of 1103 East 231st Street; Naesean Jackson, 20, of 98 Highland Avenue in Bridgeport, Connecticut; and Kelvin Woods, 20, of 2739 Kingsbridge Terrace. All four were taken into custody on Friday, March 21.

Each of the defendants faces charges of second-degree murder, first-degree manslaughter, and two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

Authorities have not released further details regarding a possible motive or the circumstances leading up to the shooting. The investigation remains ongoing.
