NEWBURGH, NY — A lucky TAKE 5 player is holding a ticket worth $33,176.50 after matching all numbers in the March 19 evening drawing.

The winning ticket was sold at Smokes 4 Less, located at 59 North Plank Road in Newburgh. The prize marks a top-tier win in the popular New York Lottery draw game.

TAKE 5 numbers are drawn from a field of 1 through 39 and are announced twice daily at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Winning tickets can be claimed up to one year from the date of the drawing.

The New York Lottery, North America’s most profitable lottery, contributed $3.8 billion to New York State public education in fiscal year 2023–2024.
