OCEAN COUNTY, NJ — A man with outstanding arrest warrants in at least four states was taken into custody in Ocean County, authorities confirmed.

Marcus Issiac Ramirez, 50, was booked into the Ocean County Jail on March 19, 2025, on charges of criminal mischief and shoplifting. However, records reveal he has active warrants in multiple jurisdictions across New Jersey, as well as in Alabama, New York, and Florida.

Ramirez, described as 5 feet 3 inches tall and 190 pounds with short gray hair and brown eyes, has detainers from municipal courts in Hackensack, North Bergen, Woodland, Millburn, and Clark. Additionally, warrants were issued by the Union County Sheriff’s Office, Alabama law enforcement, the New York City police system, and authorities in Florida.

His latest arrest stems from an incident which includes charges of shoplifting and property damage. He is currently being held without bail.

Officials have not disclosed whether Ramirez will face extradition to other states or if additional charges will be filed.
