Stafford deputies arrest one after breaking up gathering at vacant home

Stafford, VA – A gathering at a residence under renovation was interrupted by local deputies on Sunday night. Around 8:57 p.m., Sergeant E.E. West, Deputy C.A. Sharp, Deputy X.D. Bates, and Deputy J.J. Holetzky responded to a disturbance in the Foxwood Village subdivision.

The residence, which was not supposed to be occupied, was found to have several individuals inside. Deputies, who were already in the vicinity due to another call, quickly arrived and discovered the presence of people inside. The suspects attempted to flee when deputies shone flashlights on them, leading to a foot chase.

The first suspect surrendered after realizing he could not outrun the deputies. All suspects but one were identified. Inside the residence, deputies found several cans of Four Loko, and it was discovered that only one of the suspects was of legal drinking age, at 21 years old.

The 21-year-old was arrested and charged with two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, unlawful entry, and fleeing from law enforcement.
