Powerball ticket worth $1 million sold in Pennsylvania

WOODLYN, PA — A Pennsylvania Lottery player is now a millionaire after purchasing a winning Powerball ticket for the St. Patrick’s Day drawing in Delaware County.

The ticket, sold at Wawa, 510 Fairview Road, matched all five white balls—11, 18, 23, 38, and 60—but missed the red Powerball number 9. The retailer will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Powerball winners have one year from the drawing date to claim their prize. More than 33,300 other Pennsylvania Lottery Powerball tickets also won prizes in Monday’s drawing.

The Powerball jackpot has rolled to an estimated annuity value of $416 million for the next drawing on Wednesday, March 19.
