NEW YORK, NY — The NYPD is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with an assault at a Bronx subway station that left a 63-year-old woman injured.
The incident happened at approximately 8:15 a.m. Tuesday at the West 231st Street and Broadway subway station in the Kingsbridge section. Authorities said the suspect approached the woman as she was exiting a northbound “1” train and pushed her, causing her to fall onto the platform.
The victim suffered multiple injuries to her face, wrist, and ribs. Emergency responders treated her at the scene.

The suspect fled the station on the departing northbound “1” train. Police have not released a detailed description of the individual but have shared images in hopes of identifying him.
