Washington, D.C. A second suspect has been arrested in connection with a string of business burglaries that took place across the District in early December, police said.

Authorities arrested 19-year-old Stuart Scott of Northwest on March 11, 2025, following a DC Superior Court warrant. His arrest comes after the February 21 arrest of 19-year-old Ryan Howell, who was also charged in connection with the offenses.

Scott is accused of being involved in at least 20 burglaries on December 2, 2024, and linked to eight additional burglary-related incidents on December 10. The targeted businesses were spread across multiple locations, including K Street, Wisconsin Avenue, and Pennsylvania Avenue.
